This Blue Monday, let’s look out for the men in our community. They are valued, and for many it can be tougher to speak up. A simple check-in, cuppa tea or kind word can make a real difference.
Organisations in our community like Mental Health Motorbike are doing incredible work and can also offer support with over 100 volunteers providing free mental health support. Their efforts show the difference a caring network can make, especially during tough (and cold!) times of year.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is always available:

Throwback to a lovely visit to a local veterans’ breakfast group ☕️
A really welcoming bunch who clearly look out for each other and meet up every week for a good chat (and plenty of banter!). Loved hearing about where they were stationed, their experiences since leaving service, and the support they give one another now.
We also talked veterans’ support and the mineworkers’ pension. Iris, the oldest member and former military police, was an absolute inspiration. ... See MoreSee Less

SUPPORT LANGWITH CRICKET CLUB🏏
Great to see Langwith Cricket Club going from strength to strength after last year’s pitch repairs. The club now has a £7,600 conditional funding offer from Sport England to invest in vital equipment that will benefit junior and adult cricket.
To unlock this funding, the club needs to match it through crowdfunding. Every donation helps.
